GLASSES GLASSES: I Can See Clearly Now
Shameless self-promotion alert! Announcing how happy I am to be working with the talented ladies of gentlemen of Glasses Glasses (Miss Rachel Kichler in particular).
There is are two components to GG as of now-- there's the monthly issue (No. 6 out now!). Then there's the Glasses Glasses blog, launched just about a month ago (and for which I am a writer/blogger/columnist...or insert the euphemism of your choice).
At this point we're obviously in the beginning stages of this venture, which is a very exciting process of which to be a part. Everything is expanding so fast and we plan to seek out new recruits along the way (wordsmiths, photogs, filmmakers and much, much more). If interested, you will find our contact information on the site. Every month has a theme which serves as a 'loose prompt' for content. To give you the idea...voila des examples:
*as always click an image to to view its full size*
And without further adieu (what? Did I really just write that?) here is the Glasses Glasses Blog. So check it.
BTW if you're an aspiring (or accomplished) writer, picture-taker, video-taper, think about submitting some of your work to us for a chance to get published. We want all you big, bright shining stars. Check details here or on the main site.
My posts thus far can be found here, but once you're there you'll prob end up just reading everything because it's SO GOOD.

The following weekend I stayed in the city so I could go to Jill & Lindsay's BD pique-nique chez Prospect Park.

Prospect Park Cowboys
Lindsay had tied a balloon to a pickle jar so that we'd be easier for people to spot across the lawn. Then this little girl ran up and we kind of got guilt-tripped into giving her the balloon. She walked away with her family and few moments later released it into the atmosphere.
Photoshop'd in Liz here...right?
